Being President of Kambala I am proud at the moment to share that we as a team have come forward to live the dream of organizing traditional sport of Mangalore in Shimoga. Buffalo Race also signifies the culture and heritage of “Namma Tulunaadu”. It has gained charm, popularity and more prominent not only in Mangalore but also in Udupi, Kasaragod and Dakshina Kannada Disrict. The Art of buffalo race has a golden historical heritage and history of almost thousand plus years. We are in the process to create milestone by launching this sport for the first time in Shimoga. The Proud moment for all Tuluva Kannadiga, The Kambala season generally starts in October and lasts until March.
